About Us

Dragonfly Pond Family Society is committed to supporting families with children aged birth to 18 years who experience developmental and/or physical medical challenges.

We offer a wide range of programs to our members, compatible for varying ages, abilities and interests.

Dragonfly Pond Family Society was initiated in January 2000 by a small group of parents, health care workers, and child development specialists who recognized the need for greater support for families who have children with complex care needs in the South Okanagan and Similkameen. Through discussions and assessment, they identified the areas in which expansion and enhancement of support would benefit our community. Since then, Dragonfly Pond Family Society has consistently grown and developed into a organization that continues to provide important opportunities, events and services to these families.
