Supportive summer and spring fun for all children
Often families can struggle to find a place where they can network and play, in a safe environment. Dragonfly Pond remedies that with a spring and summer children’s program known as Dragonflies & Minnows. During this program, children and caregivers/parents have the opportunity to partake in a variety of events that might otherwise be inaccessible for their family. This allows some children to experience summer camp fun in ways that they might not have before.
Dragonflies & Minnows owes its success to the United Way, Safeway, volunteers, instructors, parents, and the partnerships with the City of Penticton.
2025 Dates
Each year we select an event for each day during our 4 weeks of programming. Examples of past events are goat farm visits, horse riding, water sports, bouldering or art in the park! All experiences are tailored to be accessible for children who require extra support, and are completely free for our members.
